I am a 40 year old women with two beautifull kids to take care of by my self with no one to help me my kids father not helping me at all he wants to do a new life without me.

You've probably never heard of Dr. June McCarroll, but she's truly a woman who left her mark on the world. Born in Nebraska, she was a general practitioner who lived in California. Interestingly enough, her claim to fame lies outside the world of medicine. An accident was the trigger that got her thinking about making our highways safer. Her car was sideswiped, and she determined to do something about cars that crowded others off the road.

Driving on a road that bulged down its center, Dr. McCarroll noticed that the bulge helped to keep motorists on their own side of the road. That gave her an idea. She tried persuading the town council to "paint a line down the middle of the road" to set an example and "lead the nation in public safety."

She got the typical bureaucratic response. However, she was someone who would not take no for an answer. So she took her idea to the local women's club. The vote was unanimous in support of the project. Still, she continued to face bureaucratic stubbornness for seven long years before her idea was implemented.

In 1924 the California Highway Commission agreed to experiment with a centerline on two sections of Route 99. Accidents on both test stretches diminished dramatically, and soon the entire state boasted McCarroll lines on its highways. Most of the world has since followed suit. Message: When you conceive an idea in which you fervently believe, go after that idea, especially if people you respect believe it's a good one.

I am a 47 year old mother of 2 kids.  1 of my children are disabled..  We have lived on his SSI for the last 15 years.  I wish to get a car now  while will allow me to look for a job.... My son is 16 now and a nurse can do all the things i do.  Please help........................  I am only  $425.00  away from at least a tote the note...(down payment) .lol    PLEASE HELP ANY WAY U CAN........  THANKS .................

I need dental help!!

I am 37 year old woman. I am married to man that dieing of congestive heartfailure. We work part time but recieve social security.  It cost a lot of money to keep a person with heart diease going day to day. I work at home to be there for my husband. My day is full between working, providing for him and running a household. We make too much to get any help from the state. We have no dental insurance. Our credit is shot. We do not have money laying around to go denist and spend that amount of money out front. I got 10 teeth breaking. I am living in pain every day. We get medicare and all the free dental clinic that are here will not take us.  I need help. Even if a dollar it is start to getting my mouth fix. I never ask for anything I need.  This time I need help.

I am a widowed latina mom looking for grants to assist me in purchasing commercial property.

This is a very last resort. I am in debt and feel horrible about it. I am on foodstamps and living at home again as a grown woman. The situation is very embarrassing for me. I would be eternally grateful and give back to those in need once I am on my feet again. I have been unemployed for almost a year now without unemployment benefits because I worked for a non-profit previously and was ineligible for receiving unemployment. I am asking God for help everyday and actively looking for work every day. I have had a few interviews but nothing solidifies. Hello, I'm looking for any advice on how to find funding to help continue the process of getting my life saving invention out there for the world to have access to. In an emergency situation i came up with an idea that saved the lives of my animals and have since done alot of research footwork, via internet, and having invent help do a product search. at this time as far as i know there is nothing on the market that even comes close. I have a portfolio and product research portfolio finished , and am having a prototype created. I have run out of funds and don't have the credit for a loan, I have been out of work until recently for over six years due to a major on the job injury which required multiple surgeries and lot's of recovery time, hence the bad credit and plenty of time to come up with ideas. I love animals and truly believe in my idea as i have personally proved that it works and there is a definate need for it, I want to help others and the only thing standing in my way is the funds to fnish what i have started.   Heather

I am a 53 year old woman with diabetes, bi-polar disorder and osteoarthritis in need of a helping hand.  I am in a 10 marriage that is an unhappy one and I want a divorce.  I have been trying for over 2 years to get disability.  I need glasses and dentures.  Have no car.  My home is a 1987 singlewide mobile home in need of repairs. I have a student loan form the early 1990's that I can pay.   I worked my whole life with nothing to show for it because of bad choices and have no one to blame but myself.  I am a good person, no drugs or alcohol, never in trouble with the law.

I can send proof of all the above statements if needed.  I just need a fresh start.  Anything and everything even advice will be appreciated.

HELLO ALL....FOUND OUT I HAVE RA 2 MONTHS AGO WHILE I WAS OUT VOLUNTEERING MY TIME.SINCE THEN MY HAND IS FREEZING YP AND NOW MY SHOULDER.HAVEN'T BEEN TO THE DR FOR MEDS YET ,BECAUSE I HAVE NO INSURANCE.I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SOME MEDS FOR THE PAIN.IT IS COLD HERE AS ALL I HAVE IS OIL STANDING HEATER AND ALL.SO GLAD I WAS ABLE TO GET FOOD STAMPS.

Hi,

My name is Peggy.  I am divorced, and just turned 60 in June.  The last few years have been very hard.  I was laid off work after 17 years, and have been working for a temporary service since 2005.  I do not have any transportation.  I had bought a truck last December, but it was repossessed in May.  I got sick and was off work for a few days, and with high summer utility bills and no sick pay, it didn't take long for me to get behind.

Now I am taking the bus back and forth to work.  I don't mind riding the bus, but after I get off the bus, I have to walk another mile to work.  I know that doesn't seem very far, but when you are 60 and it is 115 degrees outside, it takes a toll on you.

I have been looking at cars on Craigslist, and I can get an old clunker for about 600.00.  My problem is, that I live paycheck to paycheck, and can't save sny month towards a car.  I just found out this job will end in about a month, and I am trying to get transportation so I can go out and find another job.  The buses in Phoenix aren't the best mode of transporation.

If anyone could help me, I promise I would pay if forward, and help someone else in return.  I  have always tried to help others whenever I could, and even now I try to help others who are worse off than I am.

If you have an old car that doesn't need to much work done to it, that would be great too.  I would try to make payments to you if you want.  I am just feeling really depressed right now, and need a little help.

If you can't help me, I understand and thank you for reading this. Maybe you can pray for me that things will work out.  I know God won't desert me, so I'll leave things in his hands.
